We’ve sat down with one of our recent cosmetic surgery patients, Danielle, to talk about her journey with Pall Mall.

Danielle had Rhinoplasty surgery with Mr Raghavan in September and is delighted with her results.

Why did you decide to have cosmetic surgery?

I decided to have surgery as I have been very self-conscious of my nose for many years now. I just never felt comfortable with how I looked, and I hated the thought of anyone taking photos of me. I hated what I saw in the mirror, and I really wanted to change my nose.

I was severely bullied because of my nose, which impacted me mentally however, this did not impact my decision on having surgery.

I decided to have surgery for me and to make me feel better about myself!

What made you choose Pall Mall?

Someone I knew recommended Pall Mall to me, I started following them on social media and was blown away with the results that they shared on their posts.

When I went to meet Mr Raghavan, I knew I had to book my Rhinoplasty surgery in with him! I really liked how honest he was and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease straight away.

How did you feel before your cosmetic surgery?

Expectedly, I was extremely nervous, as I am sure most people are ahead of surgery, but I was also so very excited to change something I’ve not been happy with for so long.

On the day of surgery, I didn’t feel as nervous as what I thought I would until I went down to theatre and then the nerves kicked in. All the staff made me feel so at ease by making conversation and taking my mind off what was happening – the next thing I knew I woke up in recovery.

How was your recovery?

I’ll be honest, I found the recovery the hardest part of the whole journey.

Adjusting to something new on your face, along with the swelling process, is quite difficult some days.

I was shocked with the minimal bruising I had though! I’ve seen some patients covered in bruising after their surgery for quite a while but thankfully I only had minimal bruising for around two days.

Are you happy with your cosmetic surgery results?

I am extremely happy with my results, there is such a massive improvement!

I couldn’t be happier with the newfound confidence I have in myself now, it’s amazing. I am so glad I plucked up the courage to get it done.

Do you have any advice for those considering cosmetic surgery?

If it’s something you want for you and have wanted for a long time then do your research, prepare for the journey and just go for it.

Life is too short to be anything but happy.
