How to instruct us for a Medical legal report
Step 1: Letter of Instruction
Firstly, you should send an initial letter of instruction to Pall Mall Medical, briefly covering details of the accident along with any specific areas which the solicitor wishes the expert to address. If there is any doubt, our expert will make direct contact with the instructing solicitor.
Step 2: Initial Appointment
We will arrange an appointment for you to speak to the appropriate/requested medico-legal expert. You can request the details of 2/3 experts and chose which expert you would like to speak to. In some cases, previous medical and investigation records should be made available to Pall Mall Medical before the appointment.
Step 3: Consultation
You will have a consultation within one week of receipt of the instruction letter. However, urgent appointments can be requested.
Step 4: Report
If no further medical tests are required, the consultant will prepare the report and send it to the requesting firm, usually within three days of consultation. In some cases, further investigations will be required and we will ensure these are completed as quickly as possible. Where appropriate, Pall Mall Medical can undertake the coordination of additional investigations.
