Sexual Health Appointments

Don’t let your skin knock your confidence. Whatever your condition or concern, we are here to help.

When you’ve tried countless different creams and nothing seems to be working, it’s time to see a dermatologist. We recognise that painful symptoms and skin insecurities can hugely impact your quality of life.

Are you suffering from a skin condition such as acne, rosacea, eczema or psoriasis that’s making you feel embarrassed, upset and unsociable? Have you tried lots of different creams from the chemist but nothing seems to work? Then it might be time to see a special dermatologist.

At Pall Mall, you won’t have to wait months to receive much-needed treatment. With no referrals or long waiting lists, you will receive a skin dermatology appointment in a matter of days. Our specialist dermatologists can diagnose and treat a variety of concerns, including hyperpigmentation, acne, eczema, allergies and rashes.

What is a sexually transmitted disease or infection?

A sexually transmitted disease (STD) or a sexually transmitted infection (STI), are passed from one person to another through sexual activity or contact. Usually as a result of vaginal, oral or anal sex. Some STDs, such as herpes and HPV can be spread by contact with the skin.

Getting your hearing tested

Hearing tests are recommended as part of developmental checks for children or you may want to book a test for yourself if you are experiencing hearing problems or loss.

Why see a private sexual health consultant?

It can be difficult to discuss sexual health issues. So, you may prefer to see a private sexual health consultant. You’ll be able to have a full and open discussion with one of our consultants who will be understanding and supportive. They’ll also treat everything with complete discretion and in total confidence.

If you want a fast result, you can have an Instant STD/STI or HIV test. It uses a finger prick of blood or a swab sample and is taken at our clinics with results in just 20 minutes, whilst you wait. Our GP or nurse practitioner will give you the results in person making this an extremely discreet option

What instant STD/STI tests can I have?

Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis, Herpes (HSV I & HSV II) A discount is available on all bookings with more than 1x instant test taken during the same appointment. Any second or additional instant tests you add, cost only £50 (exluding HIV, available for an additional £70) when booked with any other test.

What to expect

A sexual health specialist will discuss your concerns or any symptoms you may have. You’ll be asked a few simple questions about when you last had sex and if it was unprotected. If you may have an STI you will have an examination. You’ll be treated with respect and in complete confidence.
